When you receive a card in the mail, it reminds you that someone thought of you at that time.
I miss the old days when cards poured into our mailboxes sometimes twice a day.
I remarked to my husband the other day that we had always sent out cards to our aunts and uncles even if we didn’t receive any back. I hoped that they brought a smile to their face when they opened them.
We have many nieces and nephews and hardly any of them send us cards now that we are older it would be so nice. I so enjoy hearing from them and seeing their families grow each year, but don’t get many of those.
The cost of postage is high, but so are latte’s, takeouts and any magazine.
Please don’t correct a person’s spelling. It’s petty.
