You say it doesn’t go down as you view it like a ballon, then you say it does but deflation is bad, (agreed). I view inflation more like acceleration, sometimes the rate increases, (“inflation” is shorthand for “the rate of inflation”), sometimes it decreases and rarely it goes negative. Low constant inflation of 2% is considered optimal by the people who adjust the prime lending rate. We are trending towards that, and it looks like we can do it without going into a recession, absolutely amazing considering the mess the Saudis and Covid made of the economy.

Here in the Midwest it has been unseasonably cool the last week, inflation is down, and record numbers of people are finding work, (arguably unemployment is still under 4% nationally at 3.96% which would extend the record 27 months of below 4% but is so close that the staff to a single McDs could probably push it over)

I don’t have a phone. I have a multifunctional pocket watch that in addition to telling me the time tells me the weather, allows me to watch or record videos, and provides me the ability to communicate to others through talking, writing, or even video communication.

Kids are far more resilient than older people, their bones flex, their ligaments stretch, even their brains can recover from injury. As we age we become more rigid. Flexibility is generally healthier than rigidity.

50 years ago they were all trending up. Since the 90s they have all been trending down. They started back up under the previous administration, but have all been continuing their downward trend since 2022 under the current administration. Violent crime is down to levels we haven’t seen in 60 years. Unemployment hasn’t been this low in 60 years. The current administration has put people to work and working people don’t have the same motivations the idle do. That is why gang members and accused murderers are endorsing the TFG.
