There is no real opposition to taxes, it pays for the peace and security we enjoy. But as taxes filter down it is clear they should be imposed most strongly on the rich because that is the most efficient method, they will then pass the costs down the line. Basically, there should only be taxes on the top 20% and they should bring sufficient revenue to eliminate the deficit plus a bit more to pay down the debt. The rich will not suffer as they will simply pass the costs down, taxation will become more efficient, and the cost of enforcement will go down. As part of those tax revenues will be spent making sure children and disabled do not freeze or starve, this will stimulate the constant turnover of revenues, ensuring a strong economy to the benefit of all, rich and poor alike.
My daughter was visiting me for the summer in Germany when she was a child. She stopped at the local bakeri in the morning and saw banana milk in the cooler so she got it and paid for it. My daughter loves banana milk, not a fan of buttermilk.
