I think it’s a great idea! They save money, and she gets to learn and do new stuff, for their own business no less. You’re never too old for that! And if it doesn’t work out, she can always go back to looking to hire, nothing here says “permanent”. (And frankly, the rest of the house really should be able to help pick up the household slack. This is the 21st century after all.)
I’m cheering for Tiffany! I don’t expect she’ll handle this situation as well as Gunther did his last challenge, but life has been throwing her a lot of lemons lately. I wanna see her grow and win some success on her own!
Yeah, localized showers not that uncommon. One of the most vivid was a time in Hawaii, perfectly sunny on my side of the street, drenching downpour on the other side. (But as typical on the windward side, the rain only lasted a short time.)
@mordock999 Not sure I see the same tone in Bets’s panel 2, if only because yesterday she pictured the character Zeye. She might’ve heard Tiffany was the model for that, so she might be genuinely surprised. Or not. I like Bets, so I might just be seeing her in the best light. :-)
As for panel 4, I think Gunther accidentally says about the best thing he possibly could in that moment!
