Same here, or he words it, “Did you see? I swept the floor FOR YOU. I did the dishes FOR YOU.” Haha, as if he doesn’t contribute to the dirtying it up part.

Totally true. Both my parents & my husband’s parents are baby boomers and were always too busy to spend time with their grandchildren when they were little. Now they wonder why their grandchildren want little to nothing to do with them now. " They never come to see us!" It’s too late when they grow up. You have to make the effort to make the memories. Spend time with them when they are little or you’ll have no legacy with them in the future.

When our boys were little, back in the early 2000’s. My husband would find it amusing to hackle the telemarkerts. Especially @ the holidays. He’d hollar for the kids to come to the phone. “Hurry it’s one of Santa’s elves again! They wanna know what you want for Christmas!” Without hesitation, our boys would each get on a different phone & then take turns rambling their wish lists off to the listener, until the line went dead anyway.

I was out numbered by guys in my family growing up & my husband was out numbered by females. He talks constantly, I’m an easy listener until he starts nagging, then i helplessly tune out ;)

Ha! My mom did that too, but then she’d add gobbs of black pepper to it for flavor. We would all be sniffling at the table as we slurped our diluted, spiced up, canned soup ;)

My dumb wisdom teeth decided to start surfacing when I was 9 months pregnant. Oh the pain! A week after having baby, all FIVE teeth had to be pulled! Uhg!!! Rare, but not uncommon to have more than 4. Guess I was cursed!! Ha! ;)

Telemarketers were fun to tease when my kids were little. Especially @ Christmas time. I’d say to the marketer,“Oh, just a minute, he’s right here… Steven, Shane! ! Its another one of Santa’s elves, they want to know what you want for Christmas! !” My boys would gleefully run to the phone and then take turns babbling their wish list to the listener, or until the line went dead.

Good grief, old guy, loosen up. It’s harmless.
