Yeah, but humor is a purely subjective thing. I hate Ghostbusters ’16 with the passion of a million suns. Some people managed to find humor in there and this baffles me – but there you go.
One would think that any effort to make daily newspaper comics relevant in this age where only OId People read newspapers would be welcome. Stagnate and die.
For what its worth, I’m a brand new reader too (well, unless you count 7 year old me in 1978). I went back 10 or so day in the old artist. That was some terrible, unfunny stuff.
I haven’t even thought about Nancy for thirty years. All you ‘I hate change’ people, all you did was draw attention to the comic and made me notice that “Hey, these are kind of funny! Actual jokes!”
So go ahead an unsubscribe, secure in the knowledge that your whining has brought in new readers.
