   While I feel for people with kidney disease, TV shows really downplay the effects on the donor. I don’t know that people should be encouraged to donate if they’re not already 100% committed to it.

   Especially since she’s clearly okay that she’s coming to the end of her life. A great example for Luann. (Although, obviously, Luann and her parents will never be old enough to be facing death.)

   Being a CNA would be a great career for Luann. (As long as she didn’t mind being broke.) Very little schooling, and she’d get to help elderly/disabled folks, which I think she’d be very good at!

   Most people would be happy to pay off their loans if they were able. They accrue more in interest each year than they pay down the principal.

   When did Toni ever say she didn’t want kids? She just said she wanted to wait a while to be ready.

    How long has it been in Luann time since they got married? A couple of years? That really isn’t terribly long to wait to be ready to have a kid.
