I would have thought the same thing once, but you’d be surprised to find out that there’s actually no cut-off age for being interested in the opposite sex. It can happen to anyone at anytime! It just varies from one person to the next.
Because Calvin’s mom was probably the best that Calvin’s dad could get. If we could, I’m sure MOST heterosexual males would rather have Calvin’s option. So of course Dad punishes the son for presenting him with an impossible dream!
