   If the big Lug would tell Mayor Melba there is a woman in his house that Wont leave but he wants her to….(because OBVIOUSLY he likes Ms Melba) I bet she would have NO problem running Willow OUT!

   I am sure they probably looked up the Oldest Fan they could find, then offered to give her a part in the strip for the celebration. This is NOT Peggy Lee the singer.

   But very few people from that era are still alive. She would have to be the oldest fan.

   My uncle was a fan of the strip. I remember him telling me about it. He would be about the same age if he was still alive.

    I hope not. I just discovered Gasoline Alley. It wasnt in the local newspapers here when I was growing up.

    My uncle used to call me Skeezix when I was little after his favorite comic strip growing up. (he would have been about the same age as the strip) I only recently made the connection.
