   Wowzers. Didn’t expect the turn the comments took. I can tell you what I told my vet when he thought it would be easier to just put my old girl down. I love that dog more than my ex-husband. She’s never lied, cheated or abused. So no, we will not be putting her down. That was 3 years ago.

   My 16 yr old poodle is on more medication than I am. Heart, liver, kidneys… but she doesn’t know it. As long as she has joy or comfort or peace, then I’m happy to provide.

   Born in the 60’s. My Mom wouldn’t purchase my first pair of pants for school until I pitched a fit in 3rd grade, (got bright yellow corduroy hip-huggers). Meanwhile my Dad took me hunting, fishing, camping. Got my first rifle for Christmas when I was 10.

   One Doc recommended drinking beer to a friend. Said it helped with hydration and pain relief.

   My mom made my brother (13 yrs older) take me on his dates. I had a blast. Drive in movies, putt-putt. Not sure he would agree.

    I usually try not to look at comments, for obvious reason. “conservatives are … blah, blah” “liberals are… blah, blah” The message is simple, as a nation, one people, we mourn for our fellow countrymen. And the tragedy is being used as another cudgel. Oh well done us. Aren’t we all pleased with ourselves now?
