Getting medicated isn’t the only reason to get a diagnosis. A lot of people with ADHD are not on and don’t need medication. But knowing that they have ADHD and what that means helps them to better manage it. ADHD is just a different neurotype, similar to autism or OCD. People with ADHD have brains that are wired fundamentally differently to what is considered normal. Some do need medication to help them function (and there’s nothing wrong with that), but it’s not universally the case. Acting like ADHD is just something that doctors and pharmaceutical companies made up so they could push products and make money is frankly quite ignorant.
“To clutch at one’s chest” is a pretty common phrase. People often grab their chests when they’re having a heart attack, hence Frazz’s reaction. It can also just be a reaction to surprise, which is what actually happened in this case.
Man, that leaning pose is clean.
