Are you really suggesting that the military can’t have assault rifles unless they’re so accessible by the average Joe? Is this what your argument is?
The DOE maintains nuclear weapons, yet the average Joe can’t acquire them.
Try a lot harder. And quoting something in Latin doesn’t make you look as smart as you seem to think. I suppose you think the police and military can’t be trusted to have these weapons unless EVERYBODY can have them?
Chips are slowly catching on here to replace the strips, but it’s taking time.
I like in Canada that the cc transactions are right at the table on the handheld devices (the card doesn’t leave your sight) but on the other hand, it’s awkward with the server standing right there as you add the tip, especially if the service has been poor.
I often have to ask for the receipt. Seems a lot of people take it for granted that people don’t want them. But my wife reconciles our CC statement every month with those receipts.
And they seem to find themselves at your table rather quickly once you’ve left, despite their being nowhere to found beforehand.
