Unless Nate REALLY pronounces his phonetics, I’m surprised the crowd even noticed he said that wrong. If you say it out loud like a real announcer, its almost indistinguishable, even when not including the speakers and possible mic issues.
Being 100% honest, if she leaves Nate over this, this completely removes one of the main reasons she likes him, given he has a “roguish charm”. If she really leaves him because he is acting the way she likes, it would completely ruin her character.
Can’t tell if I’m just getting older, or I’m not finding enjoyment in this strip recently. I feel like a majority of the arcs have been reused over and over.
Being honest, I don’t think I see these two ever splitting up. Considering the fact that Daphne’s always so nice to Nate when she appears, and how Nate always seems pretty protective of her on occasion, there’s something here that Angie, Kelly, and 100% Trudy didn’t have.
I HIGHLY doubt they would. Aren’t they both doing the campaign thing simply because they have to?
