With your customary charm you have persuaded me that I should not bring up points of American history to cartoonists and virtue signalers. I can see how my clumsy way of expressing myself may have triggered your fury.
That’s a good point. Now tell us what you do to help veterans or honor their service during the year. I’ll check in tomorrow to see what you come up with.
Well that’s great that cartoonists pay tribute to teachers and health-care workers, but what about the 2500 Americans who lost their lives on D-Day, 6 JUNE 1944? These Americans were fighting real Nazis.
NOW, what I want is, Facts. Teach these boys and girls nothing but Facts. Facts alone are wanted in life. Plant nothing else, and root out everything else. You can only form the minds of reasoning animals upon Facts: nothing else will ever be of any service to them. This is the principle on which I bring up my own children, and this is the principle on which I bring up these children. Stick to Facts, sir!
Good for you. I’m glad that your wife is helping you get involved!
