I’ll be 62 in 10 days, and I’m the happiest I can ever remember being. But wait a few months and it could all go tits-up. It changes day to day, month to month, regardless of age, depending on my health and how well I’m getting along with coworkers, friends and family. On the whole, the trajectory has been positive!

Ditto: I thought they were both living a shared dream. Let’s hope that we get more chickens and more Megan being happy, but lord knows how our fictional beloveds will pull off that very real-world dilemma.

I never find it boring. At its quietest, it’s an homage to simple, quotidian joy, cat included.
