I majored in Broadcasting and Theater. If I wasn’t on air, I was working on production. If I wasn’t rehearsing on stage, I was offstage working some tech aspect. Sure, there was down time, but a lot of it was spent sitting with an old reel-to-reel recorder with headphones on, editing tape for either a radio production or a theater production. I learned quick that it was difficult to get through a rehearsal or be personable on the radio with a hangover.
