The worst alarm clock ever is the one that goes off.

I prefer to call what they do “playing make believe” or “dress up”. You know, those things most people stop playing by age 9 or 10.

Here is the worst (IMO). Think Barney: “I love you, you love me, we’re a happy family…”

Actually the comment about promoting atheism came from NBC, not me. Evidently reading and comprehension aren’t YOUR strong suit.

Typically those that promote something hold (or profess) to that which they promote. Why promote something if you do not believe in it yourself?

According to NBC News: “In his tweets, he promoted atheism and gun ownership. He sometimes retweeted prominent accounts associated with the political left, replying with expressions that seemed to support the anti-fascist movement and politicians such as Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.”

    Facts and data.

Your specific quote from above is “If the real problem is, as you say, “hearts without God”, why are all the mass shooters Christian?”

    You said all.

If you want to be comprehensive then you should be so with the definition of Christian. Christians are those that accept Jesus Christ and nothing else as Savior. No works are required, Just trusting in His gift. There are many professing “Christians” who say they believe, but have never accepted Jesus as Savior.

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. (James 2:19)

Hitler was also into astrology and many other things that are clearly against what the Bible teaches. As for Stalin, being raised in a Christian household does not make one a Christian. Read the man’s writings and you will see he was not a Christian.

I could go on and on as well, but as you say, it would be pointless. Just remember, there are MANY out there that profess to be Christian but are not.

The latest one was Conner Betts in Dayton, Ohio this past week. Self-professed atheist. Perhaps instead of just throwing out blanket statements you could back them up by facts supported by data.

You mean like Stalin? Pol Pot? Mao Tse Tung and so many other atheistic communists?

Actually, the National Institute of Justice has funded “The Violence Project” which created a comprehensive database of over 150 mass public shootings from 1966 to 2018 analyzing over 50 individual-level psycho-social life history variables, including mental health history, trauma, interest in past shootings, and situational triggers of the killers. They discovered four commonalities among the perpetrators of nearly all mass shooting.

1.the vast majority of mass shooters experienced early childhood trauma and exposure to violence at a young age.

2.practically every mass shooter had reached an identifiable crisis point in the weeks or months leading up to the shooting.

3.most of the shooters had studied the actions of other shooters and sought validation for their motives.

4.the shooters all had the means to carry out their plans.

Interesting, no mention of them all being Christian. You would think that if ALL mass shooters were Christian, they would have picked up on that. Obviously, they did not have access to your irrefutable evidence. Perhaps that is because your premise is entirely false. In just a very short time I was able to easily identify the following list of mass murderers who described themselves as atheists (but that doesn’t fit your meme, does it?).

Connor Betts: the Dayton, Ohio shooter who just killed 9 people this past weekend.

Dimitrios Pagourtzis, Santa Fe, Texas shooter who killed 10 people at a public school in 2018,

Gabriel Ross Parker, who murdered two people at Marshall County High School in Kentucky in 2018.

Devin Patrick Kelley, who murdered 26 people at First Baptist Church in Texas in 2017

Chris Harper Mercer, killed 10 people at Umpqua Community College in 2015

Craig Stephen Hicks, killed 3 people in Chapel Hill, NC in 2015

Jared Lee Loughner, killed 6 in Tucson, AZ in 2011

Seung-Hui Cho, killed 32 people at Virginia Tech in 2007

Jeffrey Dahmer, raped, murdered and dismembered 17 men and boys.
