Found a suspicious lump in March. Can’t get into the Doctor’s office until May. Need a Mammogram – got it soon. Follow-up with surgeon for biopsy – July. Confirmed fast growing cancer tumor – August. Had to wait for surgery in October. Got hell from each Doctor for waiting – their office was the problem. Glad I’m still alive.
The sage needs to find another line of work. While at the university, one of my classmates showed me how to fold fitted sheets neatly as if they were in a package.
Sometimes when you are reading a really good book, you don’t want interruptions, like seeing or hearing birds chase each other out in the yard. On the other hand, a so-so book or mandatory read for work is best read next to a large picture window so you welcome an occasional escape from the dreary policy read.
I was raised to believe the Bible was the word of God, not man. Now, religious book stores sell bibles that are written in modern language and are filled with descriptions/interpretations of what the passages really mean. Passages excoriating same sex marriages, womens’ roles in the home and in church, and so much more. Then there are the pastors that stand at the pulpet and spew anti-science, pro MAGS bs. I no longer can stomach sitting through a service, and that last one was a real duzy.
I guess it was the rewritten modern bibles that really turned me away from Christianity as we know it today. Count me as an agnostic who looks to the cosmos and not organized religion.
Let me get this straight, you think doom will be coming up in 2025 if Biden or one of the surrogates is reelected. Which one fosters the feeling of doom, one who has empathy for people and tries to work with others to form bi-partisan legislation or the narcist one who only cares about himself and labels injured or captured soldiers’ losers? Your thought is a bit off.
Ah, a little too simplistic.
