   In the February 2010 sequence, it all makes sense. The Sunday panel with Petey howling at the full moon appeared on February 28. The daily strip with Ernesto warning about the next full moon and the one with Petey looking at the calendar and talking to Alice appeared more than a week earlier. Yes, I like order, at least in my comic strips!

   I remember having Nehi soda when I was a kid in Illinois. Grape was my favorite.

   Sounds reasonable to me. Our current cat reacts to seeing big cats on TV—recently a male lion in particular seemed to make her nervous. A previous cat was so frightened by a polar bear on TV that he slunk out of the room. These were PBS Nature programs.

   I don’t remember this either. Once in a while there’s a strip that seems new to me.

    I was introduced to Pogo at age nine—71 years ago—by my father, who loved Pogo. We read Pogo and many other funnies in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch back then. I’m still a big Pogo fan, and now a big fan of Fur Babies!
