I agree with you, Grandma. And so does my 16-year-old granddaughter. The whole thing stinks to high heaven. Also, the widow of the retired firefighter who died said that Trump hasn’t called her, but Biden did. And she supposedly wouldn’t take the call because “(her) husband wouldn’t have wanted her to.” Huh?! PLUS, I haven’t heard a peep from orangeman about the victims. Whatta guy!

On the Southeast Side of Chicago in the 1950’s and ’60’s, our house was on a street that backed up to the steel mill. We too, had a coal furnace in the basement. If you’d like to read about what life was like living in a town powered by coal, read “Fireflies in a Jar – A Milltown Reverie.” Once, my mom served potato salad at a backyard BBQ and when the mill let out a belch of pollution and it came down, grandpa said there was too much paprika on the potato salad.

I was a “Director of First Impressions” for many years. (that company’s euphenism for the more honest term, “Receptionist”) It was a running joke.

Flashaaway – Yup – here in Fulton County Georgia a republican election board member has refused to certify the results of our recent primary election, saying something about past irregularities (which both Raffensburger and Kemp – both republicans, have disputed). So it’s starting already.

It’s a shame that from now on red ties will always be associated with the Orange Menace. Speaking of which, my favorite color has always been orange. I hate to change it but OMG … the association. Sad.
