   My previous dog never ever barked in the 13 years I had her. She did have a voice but decided never to use it. It would have been nice if she had barked at strangers at the door or in the yard though. I still miss my silent dog.

   Went on a whale watching trip once. Never saw any whales! They must have been shy that week.
