About 1962 I was in Grade 8. It was about -20℉. One of the teachers ACCOSTED a girl who had hung around in the washroom to avoid her. She had put on winter pants to avoid freezing outdoors: The old bat was ranting about how girls were forbidden to wear pants on school property. [The girl had been following her mother’s explicit instructions.] They were right at the head of the stairs and I recall thinking that the world would be a better place if the old bat ‘fell’ down the stairs. → In hindsight I’d guess she had post menopause Toxic B. Syndrome.
