   Both my grandmother’s were deceased before I was born. My paternal grandmother in 1918 and my maternal grandmother a month before I was born. My father did not get along with his father so I never really knew him. I met him once before he passed and I only remember a dour old Scotsman, so I effectively grew up with one grandparent.

   85 this July. Married 64 years. My wife and I know Brian lurks in our closet. This strip is carried in a paper that serves The Villages in Lake County, Florida that is a very large senior living community,

   I always paid by mail. Then a mortgage payment got lost somewhere between mailing and the bank. With no proof I sent it I ended up paying a hefty late fee. I use my financial institutions bill payer now. I had late payment notices a couple of times, but when I report it to the bill pay service, the payment miraculously shows up.

   I’ve put so many things in a “good place” you think I would find one or two of them when I put the next thing in a “good place.”

   I’m 83 and I often wonder if things I buy will last longer than me or if I’ll expire before my drivers driver’s license.
