   That’s why Prep H and toothpaste are kept in different cabinets at our house. Same with eyedrops and super glue.

   I tried sci-fi but it isn’t my cup of tea. The wife and I visited the local used bookstore yesterday and stocked up for the next week or so. Neither of us are into e-readers. I like the feel and smell of a book in my hands.

   When in the Navy it was Old Spice or Canoe for me. Afterwards it was just Old Spice. Last few years it’s been Vick’s.

   I have developed neuropathy and can’t feel the pedals under my feet. I had to quit driving 2 years ago and I absolutely hate the loss of my “independence.” Chemo after colon cancer killed more than a few stray cancer cells, it seems. C’est la vie.

   Not me. Very soon after getting married in ’65, my bride rather emphatically explained the need to put the seat and lid down after I was finished, and I follow that rule to the letter to this day!

   I will work on electrical stuff and I will even work on gas lines, but when it comes to plumbing there is a reason I have a company on retainer and speed dial.

   If I see small green dots of mold growing on it, usually in the summertime, I won’t drink it. Otherwise, it’s all good.

    I shave on Saturdays so I will look good on Sunday at church. Otherwise, why bother….
