   I applied to an advertisement for a job some 30+ years ago, didn’t really say exactly what it was, but I called and set up an interview. Walked in, and it was a group interview for Kirby vacuum cleaners. Half the people I saw walked in and walked right back out. I stuck around for about 15 minutes and couldn’t stand the guys running the “interview”, so I got up and walked out while they tried to shame me into staying.

   I saw a saying once that went something like, trying to down 8 glasses of water a day is difficult, but 6 pints and 4 shots go down like a fat kid on a see-saw. I don’t see any lie in that.

   I wouldn’t eat a pickled ghost pepper, but I do use them when I make hot sauce or bbq sauce. They have a nice sweetness to them.

   There is a motel in my alma mater’s town that had those for a long time, we called them “s*** tickets”.

   I’m an “over guy” at home, but at work, due to the cheap nature of the TP, one side is very rough, so the easiest way to manage it is to have it under. Otherwise you could have a sore saddle the rest of the day.

   I make pickled jalapenos too, really good. My thing lately has been soy pickled serrano peppers. They go great with just about anything, especially good on burgers or hot dogs.
