Onondaga Lake Parkway railroad bridge, Liverpool, NY. That one is particularly gnarly because half the year you can go almost highway speeds. I had Stouffer’s frozen lasagna for lunch yesterday, I’ve enjoyed it since I was a kid. I love their French bread pizzas too, and their ultimate 5 cheese mac is ridiculously good.
I love opera (I prefer just the vocal performance to the dressed stage show), but I just can’t stand regular musical theater. To have to sit through a Broadway show would be the end of me.
I recently quit my job and am starting a new one. Current job is in the city, loud, too much traffic, crime is getting out of hand. New job has me in an office down a side road in the woods outside a drastically smaller city, and a friend needs someone to watch their house while they’re in Florida for the winter/spring, a cabin home on 35 acres down the road from a big ski resort. When I finally decompress after 18 years of this garbage, you may or may not hear it from here, it’s going to be astounding.
