You shouldn’t pressure people to give blood. They may be have a good reason for not giving blood that they don’t want to admit publicly. You don’t want them to cave to peer pressure and give blood anyway. Work places used to have competitions for donations, and people who shouldn’t give blood did. So most places shut down those competitions. (I can’t give because my oncologist said not to. But people will still tell me “Oh, give anyway, it will be okay.”)
So Mallett is really comfortable with body shaming. The teacher should be pushing back on the kid body shaming, not going along with it. Wait till that kid is in high school and comment on the girls online.
Apparently this is depicting a rape attempt. Is that something I am supposed to think can be turned into a joke? I am not against depicting rape in art/drama when treated for what it is, but for a joke?
The MUTTS comic strip by Patrick McDonnell took their chained dog off the chain. I think its time for this dog to have his freedom too or be shown to be on the chain only sometimes
At least with a television, everyone could be watching the same thing and talk about it with each other. It was usually a group experience because we only had one television
