Maybe if you look a little deeper into this comic and the author is really trying to say there are not too many shows with hispanics in it. and when they are on tv they are gangsters and whores.
way to turn a fun comic strip into a political topic! all you people need to get a life! you want politics in your comics, then there are plenty to choose from. THIS IS GARFIELD! I came to comments to see if others would find it funny Liz was there to vet which I didn’t know.
Sounds like this might be the beginning of the end for Bets. Now she’s disrespecting his friends!? Gunther will finally grow a pair and dump her at the end of this storyline. Bets was a good character though that represents these millenials and their obsession with social media which was the point Greg was trying to make.
excellent point. Luann is in college and still acts like a little girl in middle school when it comes to men/sex. She wants her fairy tale Aaron Hill romance and its not gonna happen. welcome to the real world and now she is seeing Gunther grow up before her and is jealous. Hello!? college kids do have sex! would like to see a story line where all her friends are having sex except her, that would be more accurate for a college era comic.
Very disappointed in Sergio’s response “get used to it.” Doesn’t reflect his character at all, should of been something like, “stay in school, focus on college instead of your lowrider and maybe you’ll get a better job with bigger paychecks!” Not like him to just agree like that and accept that from Baldo. This comic is supposed to reflect latinos and people in general in succeeding, not settling. And whats up with the new artist too? Where’s the old big eyes artist?
