“Haul some marks!”?? I am not familiar with that phrase. Given the context I assume he means get better grades.

From ChatGPT: When Bill and Hillary Clinton left the White House in 2001, they were criticized for taking items that were considered government property, including furniture, china, and artwork. Initially, the Clintons believed that these items were personal gifts to them, but after a review by the National Park Service, they were asked to return approximately $28,000 worth of items to the government.

They also reimbursed the government for about $86,000 worth of gifts they had received during Bill Clinton’s presidency, as there was confusion over whether these items were for them personally or part of the White House collection. The incident caused some controversy, but the Clintons complied with the requests and returned the specified items.

If you are using a Windows computer hold down the Windows key and press the ‘+’ key to magnify without needing a magnifying glass. I just tried both ways and having the computer magnify it was a little bit better. HTH.

I too choose C on multiple choice if I don’t know the answer.

It’s funny that today’s Loose Parts comic also features giraffes and specifically one’s ossicones.

You would be astonished at the “crawl space” of my house. At the tallest point, it is over meters (13+ feet) high. My house is built on the side of a steep hill.

I don’t know if anyone ever died in the house I grew up in but there were certainly a lot of dead bodies in it.

My dad was the undertaker in a small town and we lived in an apartment above the funeral home.

I’d say Stegosaurus rather than Triceratops.

You could move to Arizona. Except for the Navajo Reservation Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time.

    Neither does Hawaii.

I do the same thing as your wife, cut the tube open. I can usually get 5 or 6 more uses, at least. :)
