Good setup to give Nancy and Mildred a common enemy, though: an unlikable pedant.
Funny thing of course, is that modern LED lightbulbs have silently killed all of the old tropes about incandescents; they use a fraction of the electricity, they rarely need to be replaced, and they don’t get hot enough to cause fires.
