I was talking by 18 months – reading before 3, doing maths at 3.. it’s not so unsusual, really! Just hasn’t been foreshadowed in the comic yet (but from this point that could change, if you wanted it!). I’d love to know how you handled that comment though after she came out with it! XD
Lupin and Goldie’s antics are confusing a situation which would have been much clearer otherwise, but Goldie’s just trying to block Lupin’s entranced attempts to play with the newly fixed vase, she isn’t talking to anybody. The Boy is being cajoled by his mum.
It’s the Woman’s speech bubble – it follows on from her first speech bubble about fixing it, and she’s already talking to the Boy. The speech bubble’s tail was drawn pointing up at her first bubble; nice creativity, but it didn’t quite work out in practice. Plus she’s the one who’s in charge of him!
