   Loved the Caspar Weinberger comic. Mr Weinberger used to be a member of the Mechanics Institute Library where my mother-in-law worked in the evening as a second job. It was really her social life. Mr Weinberger came into the library one evening and recognized my MIL, but couldn’t remember her name. (My mother-in-law was of the generation that didn’t like being called by her given name by others than close friends.) “Hmm,” he said. “It’s like a cookie.” Without missing a beat, my MIL responded, “Mothers.” Her name was, in fact, Saralee. Both were local brands of cookies.
