   Trump hasn’t really accomplished anything. All he’s done is try to dismantle everything he doesn’t like or understand. Many of his attempts have been stopped by the courts. Even SCOTUS ruled against him. He’s backtracked on several things like some of his tariffs that he paused for one month. Let’s see if that pause becomes premanent after the US auto industry and other companies flood his office with warnings of dire consequences.

   I’ve noticed that many of the politicall cartoonists aren’t making new ones as often. Today there was only about 4 or 5 new ones. Even the rightleaning ones continue to have negative views of what Trump and Musk are doing.

   Six weeks in and we’re already starting to see large public protests. If they follow thru with their cuts to Medicaid and the Vet Administration we’ll see a lot more. If they try to cut Medicare and SS benefits they’ll need the National Gurad to quell the riots.

   Eggs are expected to rise about 40% more this year. Until they get bird flu controled it’s going to be an ongoing issue. Unfortunately that’s unlikely to happen under this administration since they aren’t big on spending for medical research.

   Actually the stock market was just reacting to the possibility of inflation due to tarriffs. Investors hate uncertainty. It may be some time before actual price increases hit consumers but there is bound to be some in several products.

   Using credit cards and paying the entire balance each month helps your credit score. So does paying off any loan in the required time with no late pyments. I’m retired and have very little monthly income but all 3 credit scores are over 800 because I don’t carry balances even though I use cards for everything.
