Begging your pardon, but it is my understanding that they do hibernate. I know that females will hibernate in a snow den, and birth their cubs during that time. I have seen videos of the cubs coming out of their den and seeing the outside world for the first time.

“How is my antisemitism holding up in your view?”

    It’s crumbling nicely. Thank you.

Yes. Systematic. The Palestinians are suffering an attack on their armed fighters — that’s nowhere near genocide — and the collateral loss of their human shields whom they themselves are choosing to hide among and whom they are refusing to allow to shelter in their tunnels. That’s not genocide, at least on the part of the Israelis. There is nothing systematic about their actions against civilians, and you know it. And anyone who equates Israeli and Hamas battle tactics is engaging in dishonesty at the very least.

Anyone who thinks the Arab-Jewish conflict began with the Balfour Declaration is deliberately pretending that Arab persecution of indigenous Jews had never existed, and that this declaration came in ex nihilo. It is a claim that Jews had no existence or rights in their ancestral homeland, even though all the people in the region invoke a belief in a religious document that records them. So as a minimum, all know of them while denying it. It is a long-established practice of antisemitism to deny the existence of any Jewish needs, demands, or even presence.

The word “anti-Semite” was coined in the 1840s by Wilhelm Marr specifically to describe a hatred of Jews, and Jews only. Don’t pretend to not know that.

In that era, when religious persecution was becoming subject to more criticism, the way racism was in the 1960s, Marr blithely announced that he was not hating the Jewish religion , but the “Semitic race.” After all, there were no Arabs in Europe to share the hatred being shown to the “Semites.” Now he could continue his hatred unimpeded.

In this day and age, the only people who pretend to not know the real meaning of anti-Semitism are people practicing that hatred themselves and thinking that the supposed ignorance will cover them from disapproval.

The “genocide” is a fabrication by the Palestinians. They have been making that claim since, oh, the 1970s. During all these “genocides” the Palestinian population has been growing steadily, indicating the rather ineffective (and in fact nonexistent) genocide the Israelis have been carrying out. Now, after the 7 Oct 2023 attacks, when the Israelis have taken the gloves off and Hamas has been increasing its use of human shields, they’ve trotted out that old canard again, because they have casualties to point to. People who (pretend that they) are fooled by this claim are not motivated by facts or fairness; they are happily trading in lies because that’s what antisemitism always does.

The Palestinians — the Arabs — came in in the 7th Century. The Jews had been there for over 1,300 years before the Romans exiled most of them in the 2nd Century. How do you say that “the Palestinians have been there as long as the Jews”?

I expected the post to get responses from the antisemites, and surely enough, the last two posters in their three posts, came out of the woodwork.
