You can’t know you don’t know if you don’t know…I think:)

When $4T in payments from the US Treasury in last year’s budget cannot be traced, there’s fraud.

DOGE can identify waste and fraud, but NO ONE in the Executive branch has the authority to eliminate it all. That responsibility belongs to Congress, and I don’t see enough spines there to do the job. So unless those spines show up in the next few years, the economy will go belly up anyway, and the world will suffer a Greater Depression.

Is that the portion of scientists at Dept of Ag who figured out that killing millions of healthy chickens would prevent them from dying of bird flu?

That statement is incorrect 63% of the time.

I agree with you on putting some thought into it. It’s hnfortunate that nobody put any thought into it prior to making these expenditures.

There are 3 things that are absolutely indispensable for us to gain control of our debt:

    1. Increased tax revenue

    2. Economic growth

    3. Reduced spending.

Removing any of the 3 from the equation will only result in bankruptcy. Trump ran on a promise to reduce spending by spending responsibly. Congress must eventually be involved, and reducing ONLY big ticket items (defense, Medicare, SS) would be irresponsible. So where do you propose we start?

“we don’t need to wait for Congress in order to do something about wasteful spending that’s out there.”

It seems as if you don’t see $35T in debt as a problem.

    Unthinkable like today??

You may want to check with some of the current slaveholders in Africa and the Middle East.

The rest of your post is quite right.
