You are correct about the Star Trek part and the transporter incident, but it is actually a parody of “Mirror Mirror”, in which Kirk, Uhura, McCoy and Scotty are accidentally transported to a mirror universe where the federation is a ruthless empire, while at the same time their counterparts from this mirror universe are send to the main universe. Just like what happened to the Kevins here. Other Kevin (Vin) having a goatee spoofs Spock’s mirror counterpart having a goatee.
