I started watching with William Hartnell. I can still remember the first time the Daleks were shown. The show was low budget, no doubt, but I thought upside down trash cans!
From a former Lurp. REMF, Rear Echelon Mother F——r. Guys that got paid the same as the infantry but slept in a bunk and ate three hot meals every night. And probably never saw the enemy. Hated by the guys in the field.
