December 23, 2015 Andy uses a dog sled to get to a bar in a snow storm. December 20, 2019 Andy is singing while it’s snowing, annoying neighbors as usual, can’t remember the words to “Frosty the snowman.” A neighbor corrects him and tells him to shut up. There are others.

I do not mean to be disagreeable but I found this on a medical website: Rotation Neck rotation is turning your head to the right and to the left. You should be able to turn far enough that your chin is almost in line with your shoulder. The accepted range of motion for rotation is 60 to 80 degrees.

Please check your math flashdrive1988. I can turn my head about 90° at the most. That way I’m looking to my right or left. Can you really look completely behind yourself?

Society’s perspective of drunks have changed. On the US variety tv show “Jackie Gleason” in the 1960’s, Frank Fontaine aka ‘Crazy Guggenheim’, the drunk at the bar, was considered funny. Now he would be a tragic character needing help. Andy Capp is a relic of ages gone by. It is something to ponder that a lot of comedy is based on tragedy. I would not laugh at a cripple, but many do.

No6 and A Common ‘tator are correct. The glass in Andy’s hand in the first panel is on the shelf in the second and third panels. The glass has a “shine” on it that is not drawn very well.

I guess Paige watched the 1980’s movie “The Last Starfighter,” liked it, and thought her character Jane would fit.
