“PUH PLUNK” perfectly replicates how it sounds when a cat lands on the floor when jumping off a bed or any other elevated surface. I immediately understood this comic.

Just a hand in the pocket, deep in the pocket from the shock of what she is seeing. Merry Christmas to all!

We’ve had many cats over the years, and they have all had unique tastes. One loved cantaloupe and another would eat corn right off the cob. Some have liked bread, and all seem to be very interested in dairy products like milk, yogurt and cottage cheese.

Rather unique having a weekday Arlo & Janis that is only two panels, not sure I remember this in the past.

Yes, both my wife and I had one in our childhood homes built in the mid 60’s and then I added one to my first home and also designed one into the house we had built in 2001. The new house had a cavity designed in the middle of the house for a furnace chimney. We decided to go the 90+% efficiency route, and that chimney space was no longer needed. On the 2nd floor it was centrally located to all the upstairs bedrooms, and it also shared a wall with the master suite on the first floor. We moved the furnace further back in the basement and located the laundry room right under the new clothes chute. It is a really handy modification to the house.

In our house, the problem with shopping early in an effort to avoid the frantic rush at the end, is the following: My wife has been saying for weeks that she is done, but packages keep showing on our porch. Even when she thinks she’s done, she just can’t resist a last few things she keeps seeing.
