    Webcams were around back then. You could use programs like ‘NetMeeting’ in Windows95 for web conferencing. (A bit like Skype).

    This is the first time I’ve seen this comic strip. To me to looks like an image of how the world used to be with lots of people around before Covid.

    Actually a long time ago because you can see people reading a conventional news paper. (Not saying people don’t buy papers today in 2021 but that’s just the impression I get from the comic).

    Then you have the guy probably from the 1990s saying that way of life will end in the future. My interpretation is probably wrong but that was my first impression.
