    Finally got the 60 inch for our bedroom. It sits on my desk, facing the bed. My 40 inch monitor sits behind it facing the other way. My new gaming PC is hooked up to both, so hubs and I can either watch movies on the bigger screen or play co-op games in comfort. Gods I love being a gamer geek couple. Heh heh heh…

    I don’t know if they still do it, but a certain number of families used to be selected by the Nielsen ratings system where they’d serve as representatives of a certain percentage of tv viewership. They’d rate shows and send in the results and it often determined what was shown and in what time slot. It could lead to the show’s renewal or cancellation. My roomie and I did it in college once.

    I will say this for the desert, the nights are actually very pleasant and a fire is very nice…still doesn’t make up for the unbearably hot days! Camping in the desert in August! He’s nuts!
