He followed just war theory. In the situation he was in, he has exhausted ALL means prior to realizing only just war was the right action.

The means can’t be justified if they are evil. For instance, it is not acceptable to take a shot at the President because you think it will do good (it wouldn’t). It is not acceptable to cheat your boss out of a few hours of work, just to get home earlier to the kids.

You must judge the morality of the situation by the intent, the circumtances, the action and the outcome.

Oh my. No, God does NOT judge by the good intentions. God judges by the Intent, the action, the morality and the outcome.

Yup. We got to the moon using BRAINS and DRIVE and AMBITION.

Would like to see more of that in the Zoomer population.

The Ends NEVER justify the means. Even when the intentions are good.

One Cannot accomplish good by doing evil.

No, it is an incredibly BAD thing that Congress delegates PArliamentary authority to bueracrat. It grants them BROAD and UNDEFINED authority to do what elected people should do. (e.g. “The Secretary Shall make rules….etc”). The so called “Experts” are largely political operatives with extreme agendas. Most of the rules are dangerous, ineffective or political in nature.

It creates Serfdom. Do you support Serfdom?

What would I do? I would leave Congress and the Feds out of most issues they are involved in now. Freedom to individuals, local governments.
