   When I was a teacher I took the note and grinned and said,“Oh, that is really interesting!” and put it in my pocket. The whole class got excited and kids kept asking, “What did she say? What did she say?”.

   I went for a walk like that yesterday. I had 10 children and grandchildren in the house, left over from Christmas. It was drizzling rain, muddy path. It was wonderful.

   We were eating in the middle of the patio at a table for 8 at a busy restaurant and a huge gull swept in and took my little grandson’s burger right out of his hand. It had picked out the smallest person. The restaurant brought the boy a new burger.
