Newsome intends to do a lot of things. The dysfunction in Sacramento prevents pretty much anything from happening in a meaningful way.
Newsome should not “intend” to do anything. He should immediately demand an accounting of the spending and tracking of results and pull future funding from organizations that will not comply. That can be done without the idiots in the legislature thwarting him at every turn.
He’s running for President, so he has to do something positive.

I tad bit off on history. Abandoning an agreement that guaranteed nuclear war in the Middle East was not a bad position.
Giving $400,000,000 in cash on pallets for terrorism sponsorship was a turning point (as was killing Hussein, the primary opposition to the Iran theocracy). All before Trump was elected.

Citation for that number? Hopefully not from Hamas. But then they would know the number of people that died shielding them.

California cannot track what happened to the $billions spent on the homeless since the pandemic and have no idea what programs were effective or not effective.
If you don’t measure it, you cannot manage it. Plenty of money, just not well spent.

Which reduced the amount of coal being burned in the US to cleaner burning natural gas.
I assume you would want us to burn more coal like Germany has been forced to?

Not true – go protest Beijing and New Delhi. Conserve energy all you can. Use solar, drive less, reduce your emissions. Protest the elite that fly to climate conferences in private jets instead of flying together or commercial, then chastise us for driving to work. Protest the elites that have multiple, high emission homes that preach living like poverty to everyone else. Protest the elites that compete for the largest, most polluting yachts and tell us to give up our gas stoves.
Push government to develop methods of recycling all the windmill blades, solar panels, and electric vehicle batteries that are approaching the end of their useful lives instead of burying them in landfills.
Encourage governments that all new government buildings should be energy neutral using solar, geothermal (depending on area) etc. instead of just what will line the pockets of their donors and need upgrades in a few years (performed by their donors).
As a side note, as countries develop better energy sources and improve standard of living, birth rates drop and population increases slow down, which is why many studies indicate world population will peak between 2050 and 2060 and decrease to current levels by 2100.
Are you living under a rock and not recognizing the authoritarian nature of the current administration – attacking and attempting to imprison the leading opposition candidate – running government through poorly thought out executive orders – mandates from executive agencies to remove freedoms not authorized by Congress or the Constitution (i.e., effectively eliminating Title IX and removing all parity in women’s sports)?
