Looking at the “Trump tax cut” that is scheduled to expire next year, it was a 2% tax decrease across the board. Child tax credit was raised from $1,000 to $2,000 and the Federal SALT deduction was limited to $10,000 which did not benifit “the rich”. Should this expire, a family or single person making a taxable income of $60,000 will pay 16% more in Federal tax.
