    My husband was in the army; we moved 7 times within a span of 10 years.

    I don’t think it’s possible to go back to a real landline. We gave up our AT&T landline around 2016 because the company repair service was so bad, and the line went out every time there was a hard rain. We were told at that time that once the line was gone, we could never get it back.
