    No argument here.

Devildog is right. The first Costco opened in Seattle in 1983. They had 17 locations in 1986, and then absorbed Price CLub.

And autoship wasn’t an option because that’s something that came with online shopping, which wasn’t much of a thing in 1991.

The early 90s is when airbags became widespread in the USA, so it’s not surprising this car doesn’t have one.

Yeah, a few individual companies offered it by the 90s, but it’s only recently that it has become a mainstream issue. State of Texas began offering paid leave for birth of a child beginning Fiscal year 2024 (so effective 9/1/23). 320 hours if you gave birth to a child, 160 hours for father of a child or if a child is adopted.

Possible? Absolutely. Desirable? Not in the slightest.

Yeah, back in 1990 you could meet your arriving party at the gate.

It’s not a legal requirement, but it is recommended. A child under 2 can sit on an adult’s lap (so no separate seat required), but each adult can only hold 1 child. Children 2 and older have to have their own seats, but there’s no law saying they have to be in a booster, etc.

Car seats for infants also tend to slope more, so it allows the child an easier way to sleep.

Also annoying: They used so few frequencies that it wasn’t all that uncommon that your monitor could pick up your neighbor’s. So…whose baby is crying?
