   Climate change is real but we can’t do too much about it. Reason why is that I haven’t seen any information about the Earth’s orbital pattern as you know the Earth’s orbit is not circular; it’s an eclipse and the Earth wobbles from time to time not to mention that the Sun is the cause of ALL weather. You can’t effect or affect the atmosphere on a planetary scale. Pollution is a different story. You can’t do anything about the major polluters on the planet like Russia, China, India, etc. If climate change was that bad, why is John Kerry flying on private jets and why are millionaires buying ocean front property in Florida?

   I flew Boeings for several years before retiring at age 65. FAA Rule. I was on the 737, 757, 767 and 777. The 737 flew kinda heavy on the controls and had an old cockpit but I never had any of the recent things happen to me even after being struck by lightning. By the way, that was the emergency escape hatch that fell off the Alaska Airlines 73. It’s not a door. THAT was shear incompetency that caused that. When three of the main cabin doors close, the overwing escape hatches automatically lock. Only MTX touches those overwing hatches. We have indicators in the cockpit that tells us when the doors are closed. Unfortunately, the overwing hatches do not show up because they are emergency use only. They show up when opened. There are several steps that have to be taken before a plane is cut loose from the factory. Apparently, someone pencil-whipped this one through.

   This is nothing but a blip on the planetary scale of things. On the cosmic scale of things, this is absolutely nothing. Doesn’t anybody understand that we are on a planet that orbits a sun in an elliptical orbit that has a 23 degree tilt and that the planet wobbles through space. You can’t do anything about it. You can’t change the weather by taxing everybody. That is a false position by the so called scientists.

   What gets me is that everyone calls it a door. It isn’t a door. It’s the overwing emergency escape hatch. Nobody goes through that hatch to get in the plane. That’s what the 4 doors are for. 2 up front and 2 in the back. I flew the 737.

    TPS is Throttle Position Sensor, ECM is Engine Control Module, CCM is Computer Control Module, LTPWS is the Low Tire Pressure Warning System, RAT is Ram Air Turbine, PDF is the Primary Flight Display, EEC is the Electronic Engine Control, TAC is the Thrust Asymmetry Compensation and so forth.
