Oh good, they got Hunter Biden. What’s funny is that the same people who’ve yelped about him and ignored Trump, who has (allegedly) committed far worse crimes (treason, anyone?) aren’t happy they got Hunter. Why? Deprives them of one of their “whataboutism” talking points to distract from Mr. January 6. No matter how much evidence comes out about Trump, boy, what he did isn’t worth pursuing for them. He (allegedly) put our troops in danger. Who cares? He (allegedly) caused a coup attempt that mocked our Constitution and caused the death of a cop (so much for “back the blue”). So many (alleged) crimes and they aren’t even interested.

So what would the GOP run on, besides absolute loyalty to a traitor who defrauded the very people who vote for him? They don’t even bother with a platform any more.

If only he’d told Covid before he announced it to the rest of us…

Anyone who doesn’t see that it’s a problem that a judge appointed by a defendant in a legal case is hearing that case just hasn’t thought this through. Recusing should be automatic in such a case. If you’re okay with this, get ready to be okay with it when a President you don’t agree with uses this same strategy.

Here’s the thing: even IF Trump could somehow declassify documents with his mind (cue eerie music), he still shouldn’t have the documents. He should have requested them through The Freedom of Information Act and THEN he could have taken them home.

Any true Republican is listening to the hearings and doesn’t fear the truth, whatever it may be. RINOs will hide from it rather than consider the possibility that they support a con artist who is putting our government at risk. To avoid the hearings is to state that you don’t care if it’s true or not, even though all of our “rights” depend on the survival of our form of government. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights mean nothing if our elected officials don’t uphold them, and they won’t unless we demand it.

When this came out in 2020, I was in isolation due to Covid. As we would see, Trump knowingly downplayed the severity of the pandemic because he thought it was better for his image, setting up a situation that got us directly to where we are in 2022, with almost 1 million Americans lost to Covid. Never forget.

I enjoy this strip, but I have a problem with one thing: Adam isn’t “in quarantine.” He’s in isolation. I was put in isolation for two months at the start of the pandemic, when not much was known about Covid, and they explained in detail the difference. He’s in one room, no one in our out, which is isolation. His family, which is probably not supposed to leave the house, is in quarantine. If he could be with his family, he’d be in quarantine. I was in one room, no one in or out, couldn’t see my family or even my dogs. My husband, who was told not to enter that room or leave our house, was in quarantine.
