Yeh, we had a different meal for that that we’d eat in rotation with the red beans and rice: pickled pork and cabbage, with the cabbage representing the greenbacks. Basically boiled ham - I don’t know why it was called “pickled”… My (old school, partly Cajun) grandfather made that, but I never got the instructions/tutelage on it - there never was a “recipe” - so I stick with the red beans and rice for luck - with some of the luck being that it’ll bring some dollars my way, I always hope!
(Soaked the beans all day yesterday, added the ham, andouille sausage, onion, and seasonings last night, and it’s been in the crock pot cooking all night - it’ll be perfect for early dinner!)
Put a heavy blanket on top of each… One for the puzzle on the table at the end of the day, one for the sewing machine (grouped together with any sewing and pins in a container). Move your chair away from the particular table when you’re done for the day to make it at least less easy for the cats to access the table tops.
OK… But that doesn’t really answer the question… Wait… Maybe there is a camera that we’ve not seen before that shows the entrance to the BPH, rather than any of the individual apartments (like Susanna said above). Bea is seeing that, but OZ and company can’t/aren’t seeing it… That would make sense…
I’m confused… Yesterday, Destry was opening the door of the Big Pink House, and OZ was yelling at him/her about it… But now we’re seeing Bea reporting that the KRfOS are coming into HER house (bookstore), with OZ asking about the number of them. Following from yesterday, shouldn’t it be the other way around?
One of my close friends who is a singer says that her voice IS her instrument. And she’s very good at it! a rich, bluesy voice. I love listening to her sing, so I attend as many of her gigs as I can.
I am so, so sorry for your loss. Pingpong knew your love for the vast majority of her life, and right to the very end of her life on this plane, and that is the best that we can do. Warm hugs, purrs, and headbutts to you.
