Animals always live in the sight of God, unlike humans…they have NO evil intent. Their lives are innocent and abusing them is abhorrent.

I have been away for a bit. Whatever happened to Affie ? I miss his comments.

Andy Capp always reminds me of that excellent Brit novel…“Saturday Night and Sunday Morning” by Alan Sillitoe. Something about both of them rings true. Good stuff.

    “If a tree falls” is such a good tune. 1987 ? 88?

Man, you are so right. C & H is one of the best. IMO.

Here in Tennessee it’s Mountain Dew. “Them that refuse it are few.”

JJ has turned Arlo into a beta male. Ech. An American version of a weakling French waiter. Here’s some unsolicited advice for JJ…Arlo needs to buy a Corvette AND a motorcycle. He breaks his leg riding the bike and during his convalescence, Janis has an affair. Arlo finds out and assaults Janis’ lover. Arlo goes to jail. While incarcerated, Ludwig dies of old age. RIP, Luddie. After getting out, Arlo starts hitting the gym and has an affair with the gym’s owner. There you go, JJ. Fixed it for you. You’re welcome.

    Dogs have owners…cats have staff.

I don’t see a pun here. However, I do think Arlo’s eyes are so large, it looks like he’s trippin’.

Egrayjames…I’ve had many companion cats in my 73 years. I’ve cried every time when one passes. No shame in that. Just means you are a good man with a good heart.
