   I lived in Egypt for a while back in the ’70s. There the bigger car had the right of way. When the cars were the same size it often resulted in a collision.

    When I lived in LA back in the early ‘80s there was an article in the LA Times about people who would pretend that they were gunslingers in the old west. They would challenge the saguaros to a gun fight and then shoot them until they fell over. It wasn’t difficult since the saguaros didn’t have guns. One fellow (David Grundman) was too close and it fell on him and killed him. A saguaro can weigh more than 2 tons.The Austin Lounge Lizards wrote a song about it. I can just picture one of them reading about Mr. Grundman’s fate and telling his band mates that there needs to be a ballad about it.
